LE JOUR SE LÈVE is the second release by Décades and the best example of what we know as ‘coldwave’. This tag was firstly used to describe a certain music style that originated in France in the 80s and was characteristic for beautiful but dark melodies, romantic, heartfelt lyrics and heavy presence of bass guitar, synthesizers and drum machines. Laurent Bergot, the mastermind behind DÉCADES, started his project alone around 1986 and turned it into a full band around 1989 with some lineup changes in the coming years. LE JOUR SE LÈVE was recorded and released in 1992 as a 4-track CD EP only and we have added two more songs also from 1992 to round up an awesome mini-LP, everything carefully remastered, that we are glad to release on vinyl for the first time ever!
We bring you LE JOUR SE LÈVE as a limited, hand numbered edition split in two vinyl colours; 100 copies in mallow and 200 in standard black, housed in a matt finish sleeve with a double sided insert and download code.
