Terry Elcock had been present in the punk scene for a long time, being a founding member of DEMOB in 1978. But we’re talking 1985 here, when he was active with DE STIJL, a wonderful post-punk outfit that lasted for a very short time. But time enough to put out a magnificent 7”, the SLEEPING TIGERS / TO BE YOUR KING which for some distribution reason is just virtually unknown and impossible to see for sale these days.
Taking the opportunity of our re-release of the KISS THE BLADE stuff, the band that Terry would join in 1986, we just had to offer you this wonderful 7”. It just has to be heard by more people! Lovingly remastered, sounding better than the original for you to discover this post-punk gem!
